Welcome to The Dolly Planet, a website chronicling the adventures of my growing collection of fashion dolls.

None of the dolls shown on this site are available for sale, unless specified otherwise. The copyright for these dolls and outfits remains with their original manufacturer, be they Takara, Volks, Blue Box International, Dragon Models, 21st Century, or Mattel.

The technical definition of a fashion doll varies from source to source; some maintain that any humanoid figure geared towards wearing clothing rather than battling evil is a "fashion doll", whereas some claim that a "fashion doll" must wear clothing that reflects the actual trends in fashion at the time that the doll is sold.

Takara, a Japanese toy company, produces Jenny and her many fashion doll friends. This site is dedicated to these Japanese fashion dolls, as well as any other "dolly" friends that they meet.
